Nolan Murtha

Nolan is Co-Founder & CEO. He has been building technology for nearly fifteen years, nine of which for James Cameron’s Lightstorm Entertainment on the Avatar film projects. As the film’s Digital FX Supervisor, Nolan helped to create the first ever virtual production pipeline used in feature film. This platform was seamlessly integrated into multiple pipelines with global distribution, allowing for unprecedented realtime visualization, asset management and vendor interaction in feature film VFX. Nolan has consulted on numerous other platforms used to manage assets, interact with content and analyze data.

He has over a decade of experience in medical technology development & leadership, with an emphasis in neurosurgical technology, software & hybrid intraoperative imaging solutions. Matt is a repeat award winner, demonstrating his ability to grow business & implement successful corporate strategy. As a co-founder of LIFESPEED, Matt is responsible for generating partnership opportunities & helping develop the product to address clinical use-cases.

He completed his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from Northeastern University & has over fifteen years of experience in full stack platform architecture, across a spectrum of industries. Denny Willson

Denny Willson is President & CEO of ITF Pharma, Inc., an affiliate of Italfarmaco, S.p.A., a family-owned pharmaceutical company with operations in over 40 countries around the world. He was previously one of the founders of Hsiri Therapeutics, a start-up developer of novel antibiotics based on discoveries from the laboratories of Dr. Marvin Miller at the University of Notre Dame.  

 

Aaron Abend

Aaron Abend is software entrepreneur with 30 years of experience in database development, the last 15 focused on healthcare and medical research. He was cofounder of Recombinant Data, a software company that implemented database technologies for academic medical centers. The company experienced rapid growth from 2008 through 2012 as electronic health records were adopted across the country. The company was acquired by Deloitte Consulting in 2012 and after a 6 month transition period Aaron retired in 2013.

Aaron is best known for his work with Informatics for Integrating Biology and the Bedside, known as i2b2, an NIH funded, open-source software program that supports medical research by enabling HIPAA-compliant exploration of patient data. He has implemented i2b2 databases for research at dozens of academic medical centers around the country. He has also provided training in these technologies and has published work in the Journal of the American Medical Informatics Association (JAMIA).
